We know that renting a property isn't always the stress free experience it should be, problems can arise.
Fortunately we are here to help when they do. And even if we can't help, then we will likely know who can.
We provide free advice and assistance on a range of housing issues as part of our housing options service.
We have some information leaflets for tenants:

We also offer advice on a broad range of renting issues which might be affecting you including:
- Concerns about your landlord
- Concerns about the standards of your rented accommodation
- Questions about Council Tax
- Questions about Housing Benefit
- Concerns about finding a new home
- Concerns about staying in your home

Shelter
Provide independent advice and information on housing and homelessness issues to help you understand your rights and options: england.shelter.org.uk

Offer advice or help if you are between 11 and 25 years old: www.connexions360.org.uk

Offer information about legal obligations and rights when renting, buying or owning a home, what to do if you're homeless and where to get help if you have a housing dispute: www.gov.uk.
