Council Tax Reduction (CTR) schemes

Hastings Borough Council has two current schemes for Council Tax Reduction: 

• Working Age Scheme (pdf)
• Pensionable Age Scheme (for customers who have reached the qualifying age for State Pension Credit) (pdf)

You're not eligible for CTR if:

• You are of Working Age and your calculated CTR entitlement is £5.00 per week or less
• You have savings/capital of over £16,000, unless you are getting Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
• You're an asylum seeker or sponsored to be in the UK.
