What happens when we receive a planning application?
When we receive your application, it will go through a validation process to ensure that the documents received are complete, accurate and sufficient and also that the relevant fee has been received.
It you need some help in understanding all the documents you will need for your application you can either check our validation checklist, which tells you what information we require for different types of applications OR you can use our validation checking service. The validation checking service gives you up two meetings with our Validation Officer, each no more than 1 hr long, to run through everything you need to validate the planning application.
The fee for which can be found here. This will allow for a meeting with the Validation Officer to go through your application and run through further information that may be required in order for the application to be validated.
