Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is the document that sets out the timetable, resources and monitoring arrangements for the production of the draft Hastings Local Plan (2023-2041).

Building on the previous Local Plan consultation exercise in 2021 and in the light of the increased housing target imposed by central government in December 2024, the council ran another Regulation 18 Local Plan consultation from February to April 2026.

Our latest LDS confirms our timetable for the next stages of the Draft Hastings Local Plan (2023-2041).
