Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is the document that sets out the timetable, resources and monitoring arrangements for the production of the Hastings Local Plan. The last Local Development Scheme was approved by Cabinet on 02 March 2020. Since then it has been reviewed as necessary.
The LDS (timetable document) has been updated to reflect current expected timescales.
We now expect consultation on our Pre-submission (Regulation 19) version of the Local Plan to start in Quarter 2 2025/26 (either July, August or September 2025).
