Validation Service

Checking Service

If you need assistance before submitting your application we offer a validation checking service. We can either meet you online using Microsoft Teams or we can meet you at our offices at Muriel Matters House and check your planning application to see whether we have enough information to register it.
If we need more information we will give you advice about what you need to submit and arrange another appointment to check through the application again.
At the meeting we will not be able to advise on whether the application is likely to be approved.

Invalid Application Queries

If you have received an invalid letter from us and you would like to understand how to address the invalid reasons we can either meet you online using Microsoft Teams or we can meet you at our offices at Muriel Matters House to go through the invalid reasons and what you need to do to address them.

How to request a meeting

Please email planning@hastings.gov.uk to request the validation service.  We must receive the fee before the meeting can be arranged.  Please call 01424 451090 and quote PlanNonStat and the site address when you pay the fee.
