There are three grades of listed buildings: Grade I, Grade II*, and Grade II where Grade I is the most important. The list below states the appropriate listed building grade for each property.

Please note that a property may be Listed and affected by one or more Article 4 directions and therefore it is important that you check the list below thoroughly.

In addition to the Article 4 Directions affecting certain dwelling houses as detailed below, an Article 4 Direction came into force in July 2012 affecting all properties across the whole town in relation to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO).  The properties affected by the HMO Article 4 Direction are not detailed below.
