The Adopted Local List of Heritage Assets

Following assessment of the local listing nominations by the Heritage Asset panel and subsequent public consultation undertaken from August-September 2016 and January-February 2017, four heritage assets were adopted by Cabinet on 06 March 2017, and added to the Hastings Local List of Heritage Assets.

Hastings Local List of Heritage Assets (updated March 2017) in alphabetical order

• Bohemia Estate 
• Linton Gardens 
• Wellington Gardens, Wellington Square 
• White Rock Gardens (White Rock Pleasure Grounds)

The Local List will be reviewed and updated periodically where there are changes to assets already identified (for example if an asset is demolished) and/or where locally listed assets are added to the National Heritage List for England. Additions to the Hastings Local List will be undertaken following the similar cycle of panel assessment, consultation and Cabinet approval process.
