Is my property in a Flood Zone?

The Environment Agency has a map based search that you can use where you can enter your postcode to search for your property.

If your property is within a flood zone, the Council will need to be satisfied that the proposed works would not cause flood water displacement and would be a suitable use relative the flood zone within which it is located.

A Flood Risk Assessment will normally be required as part of a planning application. A Sequential Test may also be required.
