Tree Preservation Orders
There are approximately 300 Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) in the Borough.
Tree Preservation Orders are a statutory designation placed on individual and or groups of trees to protect them from unlawful activities.
TPO's can be placed on woodlands, small groups of trees or individual trees in gardens and or public places. It is the responsibility of the Council to designate Preservation Orders which we will continue to do when necessary.
All enquiries should be made to the Parks Department at Muriel Matters House, telephone 01424 451066 or email email@example.com.
