  • Trees on the Public Highway

There are over 5000 trees planted on pavements and land next to the public highways within the borough of Hastings. These street trees are the responsibility of East Sussex County Council but Hastings Council maintains these trees under a contract from the County Council.

All enquiries should be made to the Parks Department at Muriel Matters House, telephone 01424 451066 or email parks@hastings.gov.uk.
