Motorcycle parking
When parking in a Hastings Borough Council pay and display car park, regardless of whether or not you are in a marked pay and display bay or dedicated motorcycle bay, you must pay the charge for one hours parking. But this will cover you for the rest of the day or until the car park closes.
If the car park has a maximum stay of 4 hours, the payment will only be valid for up to 4 hours. Please see the individual car park information for further details.Payment
RingGo
Pay for parking by RingGo. For motorcycles we recommend this method of payment. We do not charge a convenience fee for this service. Texts are optional and charged at 10p. Please ensure you have chosen the correct vehicle, location and the amount of time you wish to park.
Pay and Display
You can pay for parking using the pay & display machines located within the car park. Accepted methods of payment include coins, card & contactless transactions.
Please ensure you retain the tear off stub from the ticket as proof of purchase. If your pay and display ticket blows away, or is removed from a motorcycle and a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) is issued the tear off slip can be used to support a challenge.Pay and display tickets and RingGo sessions are not transferrable between car parks.
There are help points near the pay and display machines which are linked to a control room.Permits
Permits can be purchased at a special rate for motorcycles in our Priory Street Restricted area car park and Grand Parade car park only. We do not offer a special rate for season tickets.
For further details on season tickets and permits please see our season ticket application page and season ticket charges.On-Street Parking
