Housing Allocation policy consultation

This consultation has now closed. The responses were reviewed and an updated policy was approved by the council's Cabinet on Monday 29 January. Residents were asked for their thoughts and opinions on proposed changes to the council's Housing Allocations policy.
The proposed changes to the policy include:

• introducing a savings/income cap;
• changing the age for bedroom sharing from 16 to 18;
• changes to the priority bands;
• limits on the number of refusals allowed;
• changes to the residency criteria.
