July 2025-September 2025

Approvals

• 45 DFGs approved for a total of 65 adaptations;
• A total of £502,532.20 worth of DFGs were approved;
• 33 were housing association properties, one was owned by a private landlord and 11 were owner occupiers;
• 33 DFGs were for a single adaptation;
• Two of the approvals was for a child.

Completions

• 36 DFGs were completed;
• A total of £540,762.16 was spent on completed DFGs;
• 21 were housing association properties, 15 were owner occupiers;
• 21 were for a single adaptation, seven of these were for level access showers;

April 2025-June 2025

Approvals

• 21 DFGs approved for a total of 42 adaptations;
• 14 were housing association properties, one was owned by a private landlord and six were owner occupiers;
• 11 DFGs were for a single adaptation;
• One of the approvals was for a child.

Completions

• 27 DFGs were completed;
• 17 were housing association properties, seven were owner occupiers, one was owned by a private landlord and two were HBC temporary accommodation properties;
• 17 were for a single adaptation, 10 of these were for level access showers;
• One was for a major adaptation where the current living room was converted into a bedroom with garden access and a level access shower and the dining room was turned into the front room.

Financial year 2024-2025

Approvals

• 150 DFGs approved for a total of 240 adaptations;
• 16 were for children;
• 99 properties were housing association Properties, 37 were owner occupiers, 12 were owned by private landlords and two were Hastings Borough Council temporary accommodation properties;
• 97 of the approvals were for a single adaptation; 48 of these single adaptations were for level access showers, 29 were stair lifts.

Completions

• 146 DFGs were completed;
• 99 were for housing association properties, 34 were owner occupiers and 13 were owned by a private landlord;
• 87 completed DFGs were for a single adaptation, 44 of these were for level access showers and 26 were for stair lifts.
