Event organisers will need to be aware of the security industry authority (SIA) requirements for the employment of security and stewarding personnel at events.
As with other aspects of your event, pre-event planning will help clarify the security requirements. This can include numbers of staff and types of security operations required e.g. door supervisors, and event control logging.
