Event Management Plan
The majority of events will need an Event Management Plan (EMP).Your EMP is a live document which records the development of your event.
Please follow the links on the actions side bar. There are two versions of the Event Management Plan template available.
- PDF template - Open the link and "save as" to your computer to use the fillable form.
- DOC template - Click the link to download the fillable form.
Following initial application you will be contacted by Resort Services who will discuss whether an EMP is required for your specific event.
A draft EMP, completed to a satisfactory standard, should be submitted to eventsadmin@hastings.gov.uk at least 75 days prior to your event.
The final EMP must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event. If HBC Safety Advisory Group conclude it is inadequate, and it is on HBC land, the council may not allow the event to go ahead.It should be adapted to reflect any changes or issues that have arisen.

- Production Schedule
- Event Organisation Structure
- Emergency Plans and Procedures
- Crowd Management

All EMP's will be assessed by a multi-agency group alongside the Council and comment may be made with changes required.
