Nature reserves
A local nature reserve is a natural or semi-natural green space, usually of national or county importance for ecology and/or geology, which provides access to nature and environmental education for local communities.
Local Nature Reserves are declared by Local Authorities in conjunction with Natural England. There are seven Local Nature Reserves in the Borough.
