Recycling changes
From 1 April 2026, food and drink cartons can now be placed directly into your household recycling bin or pink sack. This includes all Tetra Pak–style cartons commonly used for products such as milk, juice, soups, plant-based drinks and a wide range of pantry staples.
To help ensure everything is processed correctly, please make sure cartons are emptied before recycling them.
Small plant pots can also be placed into your pink sack or recycling bin for collection.
