I need an extra recycling bin
Reduced delivery service
Container deliveries are operating a reduced service. Currently the delivery of black bins has been prioritised. There will be a considerable delay in the delivery of recycling bins and pink sacks.
If you do not have a recycling bin or pinks sacks, please use any plastic sack that can be identified as recycling such as carrier bags. Please do not use black sacks for recycling.
Request an additional containerYour property will already have one green 240 litre recycling bin, if you need an extra one, please read the following information before completing the online request form:
- You must have space to store the extra bin on your property, as they are not allowed to be stored on the highway.
- Weekly collection areas will not have a recycling bin as you will be provided with pink recycling sacks. You may self-purchase your own bin, but for collection the recycling must be in pink sacks and presented on the path by 7am on the day of collection. If you would like more information please email us at recyclingandwaste@hastings.gov.uk. If you require extra pink recycling sacks, you can collect them from the entrance of the Community Contract Centre, Muriel Matters House. If you require more large communal recycling bins where you live, please contact your property management/freeholder and ask them to get in contact with us.
