Active Hastings Partnership

The Active Hastings Partnership is the borough’s strategic alliance for sport and physical activity, bringing together organisations from across health, education, community safety, sport, the voluntary and community sector, and local businesses to create a more active Hastings.
As the coordinating body for Hastings’ Community Physical Activity Network, the Partnership takes a whole-system approach to tackling inactivity. By connecting partners, aligning resources and sharing insight, it works to address the social, environmental and structural barriers that prevent people from being active, while strengthening the local ecosystem that enables active lifestyles.
The Partnership is made up of more than 200 members representing over 90 organisations. This diverse and growing network reflects a shared commitment to improving health, wellbeing and opportunities for residents through sport and physical activity. Membership continues to evolve as new organisations and community groups join the collective effort to create lasting change.
Working across local, regional and national levels, the Partnership helps ensure that investment, evidence, campaigns and best practice are translated into meaningful action within Hastings. It provides a platform for collaboration, innovation and collective impact, enabling partners to work towards shared outcomes that improve participation, reduce inequalities and support healthier communities.
By championing a place-based approach, the Active Hastings Partnership seeks not only to increase physical activity levels, but also to influence the wider conditions that help people move more, connect more and live well.
