Meet the Town Deal Board
The Board is the vehicle through which the Hastings Town Investment Plan has been developed and will oversee its development and delivery of the projects in it, once approved by government. The board includes membership specified by government in its prospectus, as well as businesses, business and community representative organisations, public sector and other partners committed to improving Hastings.
Its key tasks are to:
- Develop and agree an evidenced based Town Investment Plan, including initial concept projects and interventions
- Once the Town Investment Plan has been approved by government, develop a detailed programme of projects and interventions, through the business cases for each project
- Coordinate resources and collaborate with stakeholders.
Board membership, and the election of the Co-chairs, was agreed at the Town Deal Board meeting on Monday 27 January 2020.
