How do we publicise an application?

The government requires that planning applications are publicised however the form of publicity is often at the Council's discretion and can be either by serving notice on any adjoining owner or occupier or by the erection of a site notice. In our case, most planning applications are publicised by a site notice. More details can be found in National Planning Practice Guidance.

Please note that applications such as condition discharge applications, do not require public consultation.
