Monitoring the register

Each year we submit information about our Self-build and custom housebuilding register to the Government Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities (DLUHC). 

For the tenth base period 31 October 2024 to 30 October 2025 we had no individuals or groups register. 

The Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill (LURA) changed the way the council must process personal data held on the register. The council contacted all previous register entrants to seek consent to reprocess their data in line with this change in order to continue to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations. Our register review was completed on 08 June 2025.
