About The Bale House
The Bale House a brand new visitor centre at Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve opened in 2021
The centre provides an exciting facility for visitors to the park to find out about this special landscape, for school visits, activities and family events. You will be able to find information about the park, its geology, habitats, species that live there, and heritage all in one place.
The Bale House is the first public straw bale building constructed in Hastings.

Facilities
The following facilities will be available:
The Centre is open every day from 10am to 4pm. The centre is staffed from Wednesday to Sunday to answer any queries.
The cafe is temporarily closed, but there are free light refreshments in place whilst Groundwork South look to reinstate a new café provision.
Outside picnic tables with stunning views of the park.
Where is it located?
The new centre is located on Lower Coastguard Lane opposite the main carpark for the Firehills area of the park . (Postcode TN35 4AD)
