Welcome to our new Parking Permit Portal. This digital service allows you to apply and manage your season ticket or permit online. 

This application process is for Hastings Borough Council car parks only. For on-street parking permits please visit East Sussex County Council website.

The new application process will make renewing your ticket or permit much faster and more efficient. As you will now be able to apply 24/7 and once accepted, the virtual season ticket or permit is usually issued instantly. 

This means you will no longer need to display a physical paper season ticket or permit in your vehicle which could be lost, stolen or damaged and it also removes the inconvenience of waiting for it to arrive in the post. While offering environmental benefits by reducing the need to print paper copies.

The new parking system will also allow our enforcement team to digitally check if vehicles have a valid season ticket or permit without the need to see one on display.

When using a virtual parking permit only one vehicle registered to a season ticket can be parked at a time.

Before applying it is important that you also read our terms of issue documents.

How to apply

To get started you need to register and set up an account.  You will need a valid email address to do this. We have three account types to choose from:

• Personal: For customers who want to apply for themselves.
• Business: For businesses/organisations who are applying for their staff. A business address and email address is required.
• Staff and councillors: For Hastings Borough Council employees and councillors. A Hastings Borough Council email address is required.

Please register and set up an account. You will receive an email to confirm and to activate your account. Once you have activated your account you can then apply for a season ticket or permit.

When your ticket or permit is live you will be able to renew this and update your details to change your vehicle or address at any time.
