Blue badge holders
All of our car parks have disabled parking bays. These bays are clearly marked. There are a different number of disabled bays in each car park.
You can find out how many disabled bays each of our car parks have on our car park pages.Parking
In our car parks blue badge holders may park for up to three hours free of charge, but only within designated disabled bays (marked by signs and yellow hatching). Your blue badge and time clock must be correctly displayed. The expiry date and serial number of your blue badge must be clearly visible.
If the disabled bays in our car parks are full and you choose to park in an ordinary bay, you will need to pay for your parking. There are signs in our car parks with this information on them. Should you need longer than three hours parking you must pay for the additional time. You can pay over the phone using RingGo or by using the ticket machines.
If you pay using the machine you need to display your badge, your clock and your ticket. If you are visiting from another country you will need to make sure you have a clock to display with your disability badge. Should you not have a clock you can get one from the East Sussex County Council. Or you will need to leave a note next to your badge with your time of arrival on it.
This note must be clearly visible. If no clock or note is displayed a parking fine may be issued.Further Information
For more information about disabled parking you should check the guidance issued with your blue badge.
