New senior leadership team for Hastings Borough Council

The new senior leadership team for Hastings Borough Council has been confirmed after a restructure.
Jane Hartnell is the Chief Executive and Victoria Conheady will be Deputy Chief Executive/Director of Place.
Working with Jane and Victoria to drive forward the vision of the council and ambitious corporate plan will be Chief Finance Officer/S151 Officer Kit Wheeler (subject to Full Council approval); Chief Legal Officer/Monitoring Officer Mary Kilner; Head of People and Business Support Verna Connolly; Head of Strategic Programmes Stephen Dodson; Head of Community and Regulatory Services Natasha Tewkesbury; Head of Environment and Operations Cameron Morley and Property and Commercial Assets Manager Amy Terry.
There are two new vacant posts, these are Head of Housing and Head of Commercial Services and Development.
Cllr Paul Barnett, leader of the council, said: "Councillors are really excited to be working with these forward thinking, talented individuals. This team will bring together the energy, commitment and enthusiasm of all our great staff to continue to deliver for the people of Hastings.
"We will be recruiting for the two vacant posts soon - these are two vital roles in terms of our priorities. Our new head of housing will be key in tackling the housing crisis in the town. The commercial and development post holder will lead many of the crucial regeneration projects as well as supporting our town's amazing cultural offer to become more financially sustainable. They will also have responsibility for the Hastings Museum & Art Gallery which with its National Portfolio status brings really exciting opportunities."
