Foreshore Trust opens applications for Round 7 of its Small and Events grant programme

The Foreshore Trust grants programme awards grants of up to £6000 for voluntary and community groups offering a service within Hastings & St. Leonards, and for events being held on Foreshore Trust land in 2023-2024. Applications will be opening on Monday 14 November 2022, closing at noon on Friday 16 December 2022.

Councillor John Cannan, Chair of the Charity Committee said: "The Foreshore Trust grants programme is constantly adapting to the needs of the community and this next round of funding will be no exception. We always aim to fund a range of different projects from different community organisations, from events to organisations that provide key support to groups in need.

"Previous rounds of the programme have seen some wonderful projects funded including: Seaview's Got Talent, finance advice surgeries from ARC, a new garden area with Emmaus and providing of food and other support services from a variety of sources including Education Training Consortium Sussex, Hastings Community Trust, Karmabank and Umbrella Sussex.

"We look forward to see the applications we get in and the exciting projects we will be able to fund with this round."
