Foreshore Trust grants to support wide range of groups

The latest round of Foreshore Trust grants will support groups across Hastings to deliver community activities and events for all ages.

Funding was agreed by the Foreshore Trust and is currently being finalised with the groups who have been awarded grants.

The grants are due to support projects including art workshops, mental health and wellbeing, community inclusion, activities for older people and young people.

Cllr John Cannan, Chair of the Charity Committee, said: "I'm delighted that these grants will help such a wide variety of groups who work with the community across the whole of our town. We're now finalising the details with the successful groups to confirm the funding so they can deliver the projects and plan the events they are proposing. Myself and fellow Trustees, Cllr Andy Batsford and Cllr Judy Rogers, are really looking forward to seeing the results once the work has been finalised."
