Cllr Paul Barnett, leader of Hastings Borough Council, said:
"To have the first four units filled by the innovative inTEC GROUP is great news for the centre, and with another two units now let, we are looking forward to welcoming more businesses soon.
"The building provides a great base for businesses, featuring Superfast broadband, extensive energy efficiency measures including a "green" roof, solar PV and electric vehicle charging points, aiming to minimise tenant costs and promote greener working. The building is also fully accessible.
"To register an interest in occupying one of the remaining units, please contact the council's agents Dyer and Hobbis: ahobbis@dyerandhobbis.com / 01424 423626."
Tom Howes, Head of Technical Services, inTEC GROUP, added:
"We are delighted to be the first occupiers of the Churchfields Business Centre - we were attracted to the building because its sustainable, modern and easily accessible. The team are very excited to move in and welcome our clients over the coming months."
The centre was developed with funding and support from the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, partly funded by European Structural and Investment Funds via the Connecting Hastings and Rother Together (CHART) programme, and Hastings Borough Council's own Capital Programme and the Town Fund Programme.
