Christmas card design competition
Published 20/10/2022
Calling all creative children! The Mayor of Hastings would like you to design a Christmas card for the council to send out on email. Please draw, paint, collage, mosaic, create, your best Hastings-themed Christmas design.
This could show a Hastings landmark, building, event, scene, and so on, with a festive feel. Whether that means a robin, snowman, Father Christmas, sleigh, fairy, elf, Christmas tree, gifts, seagulls wearing Christmas hats, or just snow included, the choice is yours!
The Mayor of Hastings, Cllr James Bacon, his wife, Sarah Bacon, and the Deputy Mayor of Hastings, Cllr Margi O'Callaghan, will judge the competition. The winning design will be reproduced onto an e-card for Hastings Borough Council to send out to partners and colleagues. The winning image will also be featured on the council's social media channels in the run-up to Christmas.
Cllr James Bacon said: "We're really looking forward to seeing all the creative designs the town's young people can come up with. I know there is a lot of imagination in Hastings and St Leonards, get your thinking hats on this half term and send your designs in."
Terms and Conditions:
Designs should be emailed to communications@hastings.gov.uk. Please include the child's name and age in the email.
Please send photos as jpg images and at high resolution. Square images will work best for a e-card.
Please send images by 5pm on Friday 11 November.
The winner will be notified by email to the email address the image was sent from.
