Try your hand at outdoor bowls this summer!

Join Active Hastings for their new Outdoor Bowls session in partnership with White Rock Bowls Club, The Hastings VI Bowls Club and Freedom Leisure. The sessions are specially designed to introduce people to this fun, social, and accessible sport.

The sessions will take place every Wednesday from 5 August to 30 September, 10am to 12noon. At just £3 per session, or pay what you can (with free tickets available).

The friendly and fully accessible sessions will take place at White Rock Gardens (Green 1 and 2), Cambridge Road, Hastings, TN34 1EU, and will welcome anyone who would like to try a new sport in a relaxed and supportive setting. 

No previous experience is needed. The welcoming bowls team will be on hand to offer guidance, answer questions, and support you to take part at your own pace. All equipment will be provided.

A great opportunity to try a new sport, whilst meeting new people and enjoying the outside, with spectacular views of the sea. We’re encourage everyone to book a place and come along, for this fun new session.”

Active Hastings works closely with local providers of physical activity to give you easy, fun ways to get your everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 a day for children to get fitter, healthier and happier. You can even break it down into 10-minute slots!
