Agency Labour

Responded Fri 22 October 2021Please can I have data around your temporary agency Labour usage between the dates of 06 April 2020 and 05 April 2021.
The details I would like are:
Do you currently have a contract with a neutral vend or Master Vend? If so, what are their name and when does the contract expire? If there is an option of an extension, please list how long it is.
All the Supplier Names who supplied yourself with temporary agency Labour in the above period.
The Actual spend value for each Supplier in the above period.
The types of roles That were supplied.
The Dates they were supplied, If not available the week the invoice was invoiced or paid.
Response
Hastings Borough Council do not have a contract with either a Neutral Vend or a Master Vend. The Council periodically reviews its spend and particularly where large amounts of expenditure have been incurred to assess whether there are opportunities for saving costs, for example, with a Master Vendor. However, since there are several agencies that have been used across the council by different services who have gone directly to those providers on a purchase order, there is no central point that holds that information.
