The services provided to those who contact the 1066 Country Film Office vary widely depending on their needs and experience of working on location or productions. Film Students or 'passion projects' usually need much more support and guidance than established TV and Film Production Companies or seasoned Location Managers. Support usually covers offering some advice on suitable locations based on their aims for the shoot. Information about who else might need to be informed and liaison with Hastings Borough Council colleagues and various stakeholders such as East Sussex County Council.
Fees for a Film Permit are applied on a per case basis taking into consideration the duration, size and complexity of the shoot – be that filming or photography. The Film Office does not get involved with any other fees and charges for parking this is referred to our Parking Team for off-street parking or East Sussex County Council for on-street parking. When filming in the park, this would be included in our filming fees with price on application.
