FOI Request – MP Petition Submissions

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following:

1. Any copies of correspondence, submissions, or petitions sent to Hastings Borough Council by Helena Dollimore MP or her office, relating to the following campaigns:
   - Provision of playgrounds in Hastings, Rye and the villages
   - Maintenance and condition of Hastings Cemetery
   - Licensing or enforcement matters regarding the Selkie café or Bottle Alley
   - Powers to address boarded-up or vacant shops

2. Any minutes or records of meetings in which these petitions or campaigns were discussed, since 1 January 2024.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding. 

1. Please see attached letter.  Hastings Borough Council has not received anything from the MP's office relating to the other subjects.  

2. No petitions have been received by Helena Dollimore MP. We have not discussed as an agenda item any of Helena Dollimore's campaigns formally. If individual Councillors have raised issues during discussions then these can be found in minutes and video recordings of meetings which are freely available on our website: https://www.hastings.gov.uk/my-council/cm/
