• How much money is paid to each applicant?

• Each year how much money does the council receive from the Government for Discretionary Housing Payments? Please provide details since 2010.

• Does the council expect an increase in the number of applications for discretionary housing payments from April 2017?

Response

• Hastings Borough Council are only able to provide annual figures. • We are unable to provide details of money paid to each applicant - please see attached document which shows an average amount based on total spend. • Regarding the question 'does the council expect an increase from April' - answer 'probably'
