Hastings Borough Council secured funding to develop a brand new business centre on Churchfields Industrial Estate in St Leonards.

Description: The business centre contains 29 small business incubator units.

Built to a very high sustainable BREEAM standard, it has 'Superfast' broadband connection; extensive energy efficiency measures; a 'green roof'; solar PV; video door entry system; electric vehicle charging points and is fully accessible; all with the aim of minimising tenant costs and promoting 'greener' working.

Construction was undertaken by local construction company Westridge Construction Ltd managed by sustainable building specialists Allen Construction Consultancy Limited.

Services: Licence fee includes refuse and cleaning, but excludes services, business rates and broadband/telephone.
