Environmental Health Service Enforcement Policy
The Environmental Health Service is responsible for enforcing a wide range of statutory provisions including for example: food safety, health and safety, environmental protection, stray dogs and pest control related activities.
The policy therefore enables the Environmental Health Service to take enforcement action in a fair, proportionate and consistent manner and based on a clear, flexible and principles-based framework in accordance with the Regulators Code.
