Stage 1: Expression of interest
If you have an idea for a project please contact the CHART Programme Team prior to completing and submitting an expression of interest. This is so we can discuss the project idea and eligibility and let you know how much grant is available per work package.
Once discussion has taken place you will be invited to complete an expression of interest (EOI) and email it to chart@hastings.gov.uk with the subject line 'CHART: EOI submission [Name of organisation]'.
The EOI will help us to understand your project, its eligibility and whether we may need to perform additional due diligence or use expert assessors.
In some cases, we may suggest you work together with another applicant. This may be because your project is too small or we have received similar EOIs that could create a good partnership and more successful project.
If you are interested in completing an EOI, we will send you- Expression of Interest Project Outline Template
- Guidance on how to complete the template
- Call specification document
- Cover sheets for both work packages
Please read the guidance and call documents carefully and refer to the grant recipient handbook for further guidance.
Please note
ESF: The minimum age for participants has been changed from 25 to 18
- Grant recipient handbook (ESF)
- Connecting Hastings and Rother Together Strategy
- Specification cover sheet work package 4
- CHART work package 4 application checklist
Submit your application for stage 1 Expression of Interest as quickly as possible, as funding will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
You can find resources to help with your application on our application guidance and support page.
There are three possible outcomes:
- You are invited to develop your EOI to a full application (Stage 2)
- You are provided with feedback on your EOI and can resubmit in future
- You are informed your project would not be suitable for the CHART funding programme
