Household Support Fund
Household Support Fund (HSF) round seven
For the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, the UK Government has confirmed that an additional £742 million will be provided to County Councils and Unitary Authorities in England to support vulnerable households with essential costs through the Household Support Fund.
East Sussex County Council is currently deciding on funding allocations to stakeholders that include Hastings Brough Council.
The Government has issue new guidance outlining the framework within which County Councils and Unitary Authorities need to operate, as well as the arrangements for distributing the funding and reporting on the spend.
The new guidance is currently under consideration, and plans are being discussed. New local household support fund schemes are anticipated to be decided and approved over the coming weeks.
Further information about the new scheme will be added to this webpage in due course.
