Amherst Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly local club which provides tennis for all standards and age groups in Amherst Gardens. The club has seven all-weather tennis courts, five artificial grass (that are floodlight), two tarmacadam courts, and a practice wall. The club has several tennis coaches who provide both individual and group coaching. As well as play for adults, the club has a thriving junior section for boys and girls aged from 3 to 18. The club enters various teams in the Sussex league for both adults and juniors, as well as social play in the Wealden league.

There are various club sessions throughout the week during the day and evenings, as well as at weekends. Newcomers are always welcome.
