Long term health conditionsA participant-led fitness group with flexible options to suit your interests, abilities and energy levels. Options include chair-based exercise, mini bowls, stretching and general fitness activities.
The fun class will focus on functional movement that supports mobility, balance, strength, and confidence in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
At the end of the session, you are invited to join us in the Sports Centre café for a free tea or coffee and chat.
This class is suitable for people with neurological conditions, such as: Parkinson’s, MS and Fibromyalgia. The class is led by a trained Parkinson’s UK fitness instructor.
Active Hastings wants everyone to be able to join in, no matter their budget.
We use a simple sliding scale ticket system so you can choose what you can afford:
• £3 – the suggested price that helps cover the cost of running the session
• £2 – a lower price if money is tight
• Free – for people on low incomes or receiving benefits
The free tickets work on trust. If you can pay £3 or £2, please do, so that the free tickets are available for those who really need them.Booking is essential, please use the EEQU booking platform to register and book your space.
If you’ve had surgery within the past 12 weeks, it’s important you follow your doctor's advice on getting active again.
