Hastings Neighbourhood Board is looking for passionate and committed community members to help shape the future of our neighbourhoods and town.
This is your chance to have a real say in local priorities, influence decisions on how £20million for Hastings is spent, and work alongside residents, businesses, and partners to make Hastings a place for everyone.
What is the Hastings Neighbourhood Board?
Hastings Neighbourhood Board is independent from the council and is responsible for shaping, delivering, and overseeing extra government funding of £20 million for Hastings over the next ten years as part of the national Pride in Place programme.
What does the role involve?
- Attend regular Hastings Neighbourhood Board meetings (four to six times a year)
- Champion your community and neighbourhood
- Help develop, review and approve local plans and projects
- Work collaboratively with other members and partners.
Who can apply?
- Anyone who lives in Hastings and is an active member of their community
- People who care about their community and want to make a positive impact
- No previous experience required – just enthusiasm and commitment.
