More about the Pride in Place programme
Hastings has been selected by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to receive up to £20m of funding to support regeneration Pride in Place in the town. The funding will support the delivery of investment and improvement in community services, such as regeneration, education, health and employment.
The Pride in Place programme was announced by the government in March this year and delivers on the commitments made to Hastings from the previous government’s Long-Term Plan for Towns, which the MHCLG confirmed would be retained at the 2024 Autumn Budget.
Hastings Neighbourhood Board formally submitted its regeneration plan to government for approval on 28 November 2025.
You can find a copy of the regeneration plan, along with an appendix summarising what people said by visiting the the regeneration plan page.
The plan is subject to approval from MHCLG and more details about the plan will be published shortly.
Membership of the Hastings Neighbourhood Board is still being finalised. You can read more about the interim board here.
The minutes and details of board meetings are available to read online.
Updates will be posted on this page, as well as on council social media channels including Facebook and Instagram.
