Expressions of Interest for events at White Rock Gardens

Hastings Borough Council are pleased to invite expressions of interest from organisations to deliver dynamic events at White Rock Gardens over the next 12 months. As part of the Projects and Partnerships investment in the Bohemia area, this funding opportunity supports projects that enhance leisure, health, wellbeing, and culture.

These events should bring the gardens to life, engage the local community, and contribute to the transformation of White Rock Gardens into a vibrant, inclusive space for all.

Aim of the events

Centrally located and with lovely views out to sea, White Rock Gardens offer a great space for cultural and leisure events that bring the local community together. Part of a long-term vision to revitalise Hastings, we invite imaginative ideas for joyful events that bring life to the Gardens. We encourage anyone who is passionate about organising activities that bring people together and create a vibrant experience to get in touch!

Location details

We are open to suggestions for any part of White Rock Gardens to be included in the event.

Eligibility criteria

We would love to hear from anyone who has an event in mind to bring a vibrant and lively dynamic to the gardens. All ideas are welcome!

Selection criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on:

• Alignment with the aims and vision of the project
• Engagement with local community
• Ability to bring White Rock Gardens to life.

Budget

There is up to £5,000 available in funding. This means that if you are interested in organising one or multiple events of a smaller amount, we would also like to hear from you.  

Timeline and key dates

• Deadline for submissions is 19 January 2026
• Applicants will be informed of the outcome by 16 February 2026
• The events themselves are to take place in 2026.
