West Hill Lift temporarily closed

Update 27.08.2024 - The West Hill Lift has now reopened.

Due to concerns raised in an engineering report, we have had to make the difficult decision to close the West Hill Lift temporarily. The safety of the public is our top priority, and we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure the integrity of the cliff railway before resuming service.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, especially over the bank holiday weekend, and appreciate your understanding as we work to address these concerns. Updates will be provided as soon as we have more information.
