Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information relating to visa overstayers within your council area.

I would like to ask for any available data on how visa overstayers affect the labour supply within Hastings and the most impacted industries as well as any estimates on fiscal contributions made by overstayers through things such as indirect taxations, and
any costs incurred by the council to help support them relating to education for those under eighteen, healthcare usage as well as any other public services.​

I will also take the opportunity to ask if any measures are currently being taken by the council to address and/ or reduce the number of visa overstayers, and if you have any recommendations on what policies should be put in place to help address this issue.
Please include the estimated number of visa overstayers residing in your council in the years 2018, 2020, and 2025 (or the latest available estimate) in this.
