Freedom of Information Request – 2019 Disposal Notice for Old Bathing Pool Site

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting a copy of the full text and wording of the 'Notice of Intended Disposal of Open Space Land' issued by Hastings Borough Council in early 2019 relating to the Old Bathing Pool site at West Marina, St Leonards-on-Sea.

Please include:

1. The complete notice as published (including any heading, statutory references, dates, and description of the land).

2. The date(s) and method(s) of publication (for example, local newspaper name/edition, council website, on-site posting).

3. Any reference numbers used internally (for example, FOI Reference FOI218453, or other identifiers).

If possible, please provide the document in its original format (PDF, DOC, or scanned image) and confirm whether it matches the version published in the local press.

Response

1. Hastings Borough Council does not hold a copy of the actual notice as published in the newspaper. However, the word version is contained in the papers for the Cabinet meeting held on 4 March 2019:

2. The notice was published in the Hastings and St Leonards Observer on 8th and 15th February 2019. It was also posted on our website and in the public notice section of the window of Muriel Matters House.

3. The reference on the notice was HM/001082.
