Empty commercial vacancy rates

I would like to request the most recent figures you have for shop vacancy rates.

I have attached a picture with historic data from page 12 in the report contained in the link below:

If you could tell me the number of units that are vacant and the size in commercial floorspace this amounts to (and the date this information relates to) this would be very much appreciated.

I see recently another similar FOI request has been made, I clicked onto this but I could not view the FOI request as it cam up with an error. If this FOI gives this information please just forward the response to me.

Response

Hastings Borough Council (HBC) currently has 68 retail properties registered as vacant (1x retail warehouse and 67x shop and premises/shop, office and premises).

HBC does not keep records of the size of retail space, ad is, therefore, unable to provide this information.

The Freedom of Information request you mentioned is different to this request.
