1. How many incidences of antisocial behaviour were recorded by your council in every year between 2010 and 2022.  

2. For the incidences mentioned above, how many resulted in:

• c.         Public space protection orders 
• d.         Closure powers  
• e.         No further action
• 3. In how many instances did your local authority apply, or encourage the prosecution to apply, for a Criminal Behaviour Order?

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

1. Hastings Borough Council does not officially record ASB incidents, this is dealt with by Sussex Police: https://www.sussex.police.uk/  However our Environmental Health team hold information in respect of nuisances dated back to 2017 - please see attached document.

2019 - 13 CPNs issued

2020 42 CPNs issued

2021 41 CPNs issued

2022 - 24 CPNs issued

c. There is currently only 1 ASB PSPO in place covering the town centre 1 gating PSPO relating to 4 gated public rights of way - further information can be found on our website: https://www.hastings.gov.uk/community-safety/pspo/

d. Closure orders are generated by Sussex Police and supported by Hastings Borough Council and local registered social landlords 

e. Information not held 

3. Hastings Borough Council have applied for Criminal Behaviour Orders on 10 occasions, all of them being granted.
