I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from Hastings Borough Council regarding the council's refuse collection vehicles.

1. Does the council have a written policy, procurement strategy, practice, order, direction or other document which sets out your policy on the procurement of refuse collection vehicles? If the answer is affirmative, please provide a copy.

2. How many refuse collection vehicles are currently in control of, or procured by, the council and in operation in your local authority?

3. For each of the refuse collection vehicles currently in control of and procured by the council and in operation in your local authority, please provide the following details:
